NEW! Together we will learn about each state over the course of the year, which fun facts and the students will have optional follow along materials offered so that they can make their own US travels book for home!

NEW! We will be creating art using different media techniques in themes to match the states according to the scheduled month. 

Materials: Mixed media paper, pencils, colored pencil, colored markers, sharpies, acrylic paint (black, white, red, blue, and yellow) and paint brushes.

American Sign Language Club


Students will have an introduction to the language of ASL Each week we will come together to learn the basics of the language, alphabet, common words and greetings.

Calling all bookworms! Join us as we read and discuss different novels throughout the school year. All are welcome, but book choices will be geared toward upper elementary readers.

Jr. Chefs Cooking Club 


Come learn the basics of cooking and baking with us! We will meet online with a step by step instruction to prepare amazing recipes for your family's enjoyment at home! Its so much fun baking/cooking together in our own home kitchens!

Materials- basic kitchen utilities, supplies and ingredients. Adult help and supervision at home as required.

Early Elementary Science Club


NEW! Each meeting we will cover a different unit in Earth, Life, or Physical Science. We will do some reading and fact writing, and an activity to go along with it.

Materials: Supplies needed will vary each week and will be posted and emailed prior to each class.

Upper Elementary Science Club

Babysitter's Club


NEW! In this club we will use the Babysitter's Club's books to led some great discussions and learning lessons to help them prepare for being a babysitter! The students will have optional at home extensions.

Join us each week as we learn about social and emotional skills. We will talk about how we can take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and mentally and how we can be the best version of ourselves!

Intro to Music and Rhythm 


Come and join us each week as we explore music and rhythm. We’ll learn the different types of notes and how to count them and have fun as we dance to the rhythm of silly songs.

Intermediate Music and Rhythm 


Come and join us each week as we learn the basics of music theory. We’ll learn the different types of notes, their names, how to count them, music symbols, and compose our own rhythm.

Spanish 1 


Join this student-lead Spanish 1 course. This course will follow the Accelerate Curriculum; however, all students are welcome to come and enjoy learning Spanish with their peers lead by their peers!

Latin 1

American Sign Language Year One


Students will learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL). They will also learn about Deafness and Deaf Culture. In this course, students will earn high school credit when they complete the work. We will use videos, discussions, and readings to explore ASL and Deaf Culture.

This ASL course is offered for high school credit or students can participate in ASL as a club, and they will have access to the same books and videos as those completing it for credit. That way they can learn the signs and delve into the culture with us.

Requirements: Due to the visual nature of this course, students need a webcam that is turned on and be in a quiet location for the live class. Students will also need a Flip account, code will be provide to join the class.

Civil War Discussions


NEW! Have you ever wondered why men fought in the Civil War? The Civil War still holds the record for the most casualties, so why did people enlist year after year? Come read and discuss, “For Cause and Comrades: Why Men Fought in the Civil War” and read excerpts from personal accounts from more than 25,000 letters and 250 diaries from those who actually fought in the war! This course is for high school credit.

American Biographies


NEW! Students will read about people and events starting with the 1st Thanksgiving and ending with the Constitution. We will learn note taking skills and how to set up outlines and write 5 paragraph essays. We will peer review, edit and improve essay writing skills while learning about people and events that formed the Nation.
